A personal chef provides a much needed service to time-starved individuals and families. To get the best possible service, a personal chef tailors meals to the specific needs of the client. The process is explained below.
First Meeting
We’ll have the opportunity to learn about each other when I come to your home. I will ask about your food preferences, any allergies or dietary requirements, your family’s favorites and dislikes. This initial assessment will provide me with important information to make special and healthy meals you will love. Then we will talk about how often you would like the service and how much food would be appropriate. I am able to come every week for a fresh service or less often and provide fresh-frozen meals as well.
At this time, if you choose my service, I will collect a grocery deposit, usually $100.
Menu Planning
After our initial meeting, I will create a menu based on your preferences and email them to you for approval. You can also refer me to special recipes, family favorites, something new you read in a cookbook or website, and I will try to accommodate those wishes as well.
The Cook Date
I will shop for all the groceries the day of your service, and choose the freshest fruits and vegetables, preferably organic, along with any other items.
I’ll come to your home with my equipment, prepare the meals, package and label them, leave them neatly in your fridge or freezer, and do the all the cleanup. The only thing left is instructions for heating and serving your meals plus the delicious aroma of food.
